Two runaway Ashford girls, aged 15 and 16, were warned against meeting ‘undesirable’ Maltese and Greek Cypriots who ‘don’t seem to do any work’ at a jazz club. Admitting having intercourse with three men, one of the girls was remanded for 3 weeks for psychiatric reports by Mrs D. Miller, chairman of Ashford Juvenile Court, while the other was put on probation for 2 years.
