An unannounced inspection of a class of 40 boys by Mr J. Daniel, headmaster of St. Dunstan’s, Canterbury, left him delighted. Every boy had tidy hair, clean finger nails, and a handkerchief. There were no missing buttons and every boy had shining boots. He said “Knowing my shortcomings, I doubt if we could have had such a good result ourselves on the staff.”
