Sinki the monkey, kept by Mr & Mrs Neame at 26 Artillery-road, Ramsgate, escaped. After causing chaos in Bellevue-road and Wellington-crescent, P/S Jenner was called to euthanase the monkey, which he did with a single shot. Sinki had recently become frustrated by his captivity.
