1885 The London & County Bank opened a new branch in The Parade, Canterbury. Costing £3,200, it is largely built of Kentish ragstone, with the interior finished in polished walnut. There are various offices on the ground floor, while the first and second provide an apartment for the chief clerk. It is now the Natwest.
