The annual service for invalid tricyclists was held at Canterbury Cathedral, attended by members from across the country, including Mrs. Nell Newton, who travelled over 1,400 miles through Cornwall from her home In Wallasey, Cheshire. After they were ‘garaged’ in the nave for the service, they were driven to the cloisters for tea, served by Mrs Johnson and nurses.
