The Princess Elizabeth, the first turbine steamer to run on the Dover-Ostend route, arrived at Dover with over 200 passengers. She left Ostend at 10.58, reaching Dover at 2.30. The passage occupied longer time than was expected owing to a mishap with the machinery. She is expected under favourable conditions do the journey in 2 hours 30 minutes.
