A court martial was held in Canterbury Cavalry Depot upon Sergt. Gordon and Private Marrah for committing an unnatural and abominable offence. Both were marched through two lines of troops while the band followed playing the ‘Rogues March’. They were then taken to St Augustine’s Gaol for two years.
