During the past five years some martins have ensconced themselves in the passage of the Four Horse Shoes, Graveney, occupied by Mr. Wilkinson. Again this season no less than four broods have been reared and the good mater, oblivious of the traffic and of the loquacity of the frequenters of the tavern, still attends to her family, flitting in and out unconcerned with sustenance for her young. The pretty sight is well worth a visit.
