The world premiere of the Powell / Pressburger film ‘A Canterbury Tale’ was shown at The Friars Cinema, Canterbury. Starring Sheila Sim and Eric Portman, the film also included many local personalities. Proceeds went to providing education facilities to worthy children of the area.
