The Rev. D. Ingram Hill, vicar of St. Columba’s in Sturry-rd, Canterbury is asking for gifts of eggs. He will be using the whites to clean two church murals defaced by vandals three weeks after they were dedicated. The church had been built in 1937 to serve households in the Vauxhall area, but was declared redundant in 1978. It is now retail remises of The Baby Lady.
