Cheriton schoolmaster Thomas Forbes was fined 10s with 32s costs after ripping up bus tickets he had bought on 2 seperate occasions and being challenged by an inspector. He had objected to the adverts on the back for football pools being issued on a route which was frequented by so many young people.
