Henry Hull, who had been confined for some months in Faversham gaol, made his escape. The walls of the prison are of stone, and two feet thick, lined throughout with oak plank, and all the tools to assist him in his undertaking were an old gimblet, iron spoon, and an iron handle of a tea kettle.
