At a Canterbury council meeting, a letter was read from Mr. Reid, 2, London Road, complaining of the orange peel to found about the streets. The other day he stepped on piece and immediately fell down. He thought by having a few hand bills printed and posted up outside the police station and the railway stations it would warn people against such practice. Mr. Young said the chief offenders were children and they would not know about the hand bills. The Town Clerk said be did not see how they could do anything. The matter then dropped.
