The Thanet Belle was introduced, running from Victoria via Chatham to Ramsgate during the summer. A similar service ran between 1921 and 1928 until declining traffic made it uneconomic. The latest iteration ran until 1958, when it was withdrawn due to Kent Coast electrification.
