Mr H Perrey set a new record for the return journey from Dover to Calais on a motorcycle. His Ariel, which he had ridden from the Midlands, was adapted with a propeller and floats, and made the return crossing in 7hrs 25 minutes, with Mr. Thacker as pillion.
