Roads of Manston village are to be lit by electricity. This decision, which will be welcomed by all the villagers was made by the Council on the recommendation of the Watch Committee. The scheme will be carried out as quickly as possible, subject to confirmation in writing of the South Eastern Electricity Board’s provisional estimate of £246.
