The Hon. Lady Katherine Leigh was killed in a collision at the junction of St Paul’s-street and Burgate in Canterbury. Lady Leigh was struck in the throat by piece splintered glass and her jugular vein was cut. Removed Immediately to hospital, she died two hours later.
