Thirty three adults and 3 babies arrived in Broadstairs by coach from Barnsley for a week’s holiday at the Chandos Hotel. Chairman of the Jolly Millers’ Outing Club Mr Ernest Tasker said “This is the furthest we have been so far. We go to a different place each year, but we like Broadstairs so much we might come again next summer.”
