Three intrepid aeronauts, Messrs. Green, Monck Mason and Holland, left London in a balloon. At Chartham, they dropped a parachute with letter addressed to the Mayor of Canterbury; and a similar communication was made to the Mayor of Dover. They had with them the car several gallons of brandy and wine, a large supply of coffee, cold fowls, ham, &c. They landed at Beauvais two days later.
