The sale of golliwogs has brought in the sum nearly £50 to Ramsgate War Weapons Week. The Mayoress (Mrs. A. B Kempe) and the Mayor’s Welfare Officer (Mrs. Peete) have between them made and sold between £30 and £40 worth, and Mrs. L. Mason has also been industriously engaged on the same task.
