Canterbury City Analyst, Mr. Sidney Harvey, gave the first demonstration of an X-ray in the City at his home at 8 High-street. Using sundry electrical equipment, a Crooke’s Tube and a photographic plate, he produced an X-ray negative of a Miss R. Hammond’s hand in about 20 minutes.
