An unfortunate coincidence saw Sidney Gould appear in court. He had stolen car parts worth £68 from his Ramsgate employer Morrison & Siminson’s garage. The car parts passed to Christopher Marriott, a Ramsgate dealer, John Bell, a Broadstairs butcher, John Chapman, a Chilham garage proprietor and thence to a traveller. The traveller sold them to Morrison & Siminson’s garage, from where they were stolen.
