It was reported that East Kent had donated the rear of double decker bus AJG 19 (a Leyland Titan TD5 new in 1938) to Princess Mary’s Hospital, Cliftonville for helping recovering patients to board buses again. The bus had covered 700,000 miles in its 15 years service with East Kent.
