Mrs Laura Balls of 32 Albert Street Whitstable was fined 12s 9d for thrusting a penny saveloy wrapped in paper in the face of Miss Nellie Croft of 23 Sydenham Street. Mrs Balls said she didn’t really touch Miss Croft, but if she did, she deserved it.
