East Kent coductor Mr D. Truscott of Canterbury is a favourite of all schoolchildren in the area because of his ability to imitate farmyard animals. He started by playing a practical joke, imitating a cat’s cry, and now does sounds on request. He picked up his skills ability as a farm worker before the war, and with experience in the 8th Army, he can imitate a camel perfectly.
